Found something wrong?

Please tell us. A calculator that gives a wrong answer is worse than no calculator, so corrections go to the front of the queue. It helps enormously if you include:

• Which page, and the link if you have it
• The numbers you entered
• What you expected, and what you think the right answer is
• Where your expected figure comes from, if there is a source

The fastest way to show us is the copy link button on any calculator — it puts your inputs into the web address, so we see exactly what you saw.

Other reasons to write

• A calculator that is missing. Requests genuinely influence what gets built next.
• Using these tools elsewhere. Embedding, or licensing for a school or business.
• Press and research. Questions about our methods or sources.
• Accessibility. If something is hard to use with a screen reader or a keyboard, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

We cannot give personal financial, medical, legal or tax advice, and we cannot tell you what to do in your own situation. The calculators are here to help you understand the numbers well enough to have a better conversation with someone qualified to advise you.
